I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of counseling. It takes courage to seek help, and I commend those who choose this path as an act of self-love and care. As your therapist, I would be honored to listen, understand the complexities of your story, and create a safe, nonjudgmental space

Clinical Interests
My approach to counseling is deeply informed by an understanding of trauma, PTSD, relationship dynamics, and the intricate facets of racial identity, diversity, and multiculturalism. Trained as a generalist, I bring a broad spectrum of expertise to the table, spanning specialties from anxiety management to women’s issues. My commitment extends beyond clinical knowledge—I am dedicated to creating a safe and empathetic space for all my clients as they navigate their unique mental health journeys.
Professional History
With over a decade of experience in the helping profession, I have dedicated myself to serving communities through various non-profit organizations. My work has involved supporting disadvantaged youth and adults, collaborating with city schools, community
colleges, and even assisting ex-convicts in their rehabilitation journeys. Additionally, I’ve been actively involved with churches and other community initiatives. My educational background includes a solid foundation in psychology and sociology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Currently, I am further enriching my expertise through an internship at Archway Counseling. As I progress through my final year at Richmont Graduate University, my focus remains on honing a specialty in trauma. I am committed to staying informed about the most current and compassionate practices, ensuring that I provide the best possible support to those I serve.
Personal Interests
When I’m not in “counselor mode,” I immerse myself in the simple joys of life. You’ll find me surrounded by loved ones or sharing quiet moments with my sweet dog, Luna. Our favorite pastime includes exploring the great outdoors—hiking or camping. I’m equally passionate about the arts. Galleries, theatre performances, and symphony concerts fuel my creative spirit. And when I’m not indulging in cultural experiences, I’m lost in the pages of a captivating book or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
