Kate Light

Ph.D. | HSP

I work with clients using an approach rooted in Feminist Theory. I believe meaningful change occurs when clients are able to recognize themselves within the systems they operate and how they are impacted by those influences. My hope is that clients are able to see themselves as an active and meaningful agent in their own lives, as well as within their communities. I also practice skills building using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help reduce experiences with psychological distress.
